The Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), DCP Frank Mba, disclosed this at a media briefing in Abuja on Monday. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board yesterday said candidates for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination must obtain the National Identification Number. JAMB spokesman, Dr Febian Benjamin, told Daily Trust that NIN which was unique and contained the biometrics of candidates which could be used to match with other details by the board during examination verification, saying candidates would not have to be authenticated through biometric verification again. Alice Lamisi Awuni, the CEO of Lamisi Makeup Artistry, has died at the age of 30. Lamisi whose company won the Best Bridal Makeup Artist award at the 2016 Ghana MakeUp Awards died on Monday, October 14th after a long battle with cancer. Eating late at night is putting millions of people in danger of heart attacks and strokes, experts warn. A late-night meal keeps the body on ‘high alert’ when it should be winding down, researchers found. Heart experts have advised that adults should never eat within two hours of bedtime – and ideally, nothing after 7pm. A maid is on the run after stabbing her employer and her son to death in Kenya. Ms Liz Ojwang (pictured) and her son Leone were stabbed on Wednesday evening after what is believed to be a child related dispute. Ms Ojwang was stabbed in Muhoroni , Kenya, where she lived and worked. According to Ms Ojwang’s father, John Agolla Ojwang, his daughter came home to find her son in a bad state. She confronted the house help and the confrontation became heated. The house help then reached for a knife and stabbed both Liz and her son then locked them in the bedroom. Afterward, she spent the night in the living room with Liz’s niece, Cynthia. News of the deaths broke on Thursday evening. The bodies have since been picked by the police and taken to Star Mortuary in Kisumu. The house help is currently on the run and her whereabouts is not known.

A video currently going viral on social media shows the moment officers of the Nigeria Police Force arresting some suspected internet fraudsters, otherwise known as 'Yahoo boys' in Benin, Edo State. The suspects are seen being bundled into Police vehicles even as they resist arrest, prompting the officers to assault and use force on them.

It was reported that the Imo State-born Michael whose mother is from Delta State also revealed that all the banks in Nigeria do not have enough security as none of them had what he described as firewalls to prevent access to their accounts through the internet.
