JAMB spokesman, Dr Febian Benjamin, told Daily Trust that NIN which was unique and contained the biometrics of candidates which could be used to match with other details by the board during examination verification, saying candidates would not have to be authenticated through biometric verification again.
He said this was to do away with recurring cases of examination fraud, particularly multiple registrations by candidates and “mercenaries.”
