Free Speed Darlington: Nigeria's Judiciary: Upholding Constitutional Rights and Ensuring Fair Treatment for All Citizens

The federal High Court in Abuja Grant speed Darlington a bail of 20 million Naira after so many days in the cell and this is against the Nigeria constitution which says that a person that has committed an offense should be tried within 48 hours after being in police custody.

We have seen cases where the rich use their influence to obstruct justice or influence the judicial system. We want a Nigeria for everyone, both rich and poor and not a Nigeria where the judicial system will favour the rich and assist the rich to oppress the poor.

As they are, the judiciary plays a vital role in the society to make sure that all the citizen of the country enjoy free and fair treatment across board regards regardless of their financial status or connections. If Akpi - Speed Darlington still remains in cell till the 27th of January 2025 as some people speculates, then  it means that the judiciary support and favours the rich and all you have to do is to get rich no matter what.

The judiciary needs to uphold what the constitution says as regards holding someone in detention without trail, this is something that if it goes uncheck, it can come back hurting more citizens more and more without any repercurssion or solution.

This is a situation that calls for full attention in the country, because today its Speed Daarlington, we dont know whoes turn it would be tomorrow.  We should not have a situation where someone will be in detention or custody more than 48 hours without being charged to court and giving the necessary judgment that is required.

We want the Nigerian judiciary system to do the right thing and to make sure that Speed Darlington is chsarged to court and faces the law if wrong or have his own fair treatment as the constitution demands and in the in the case of Burna Boy, we know that means that his brand and personal reputation means a lot to him and Akpi should know better not to tamper with someones brand image or personal reputation as an artist that he is, but we are not here to judge or say who is right or wrong.

Let the court decide that but the constitution needs to be upheld by the judicial system and not in favour of anyone either rich or poor, in the right way and to favour all citizen in the country.
