Reports flying round town has it that it was a show of shame yesterday during Adewale Mayowa Emanuel aka Mayorkun’s Ibadan concert. According to source, what would have been a great concert by at the Palms Mall, Ibadan, was marred by cases of violence and reckless sexual harassment and brutality by his fans.

Meanwhile, reports revealed that an invited journalist attached to an online TV station, was mercilessly beaten by Davido’s bodyguard and had to be rushed to UCH to be revived.

It was gathered that the journalist had approached Davido for an interview, but with just few steps to getting to where the singer was, the journalist was dragged by his bodyguard and punched, before being beaten till he lost consciousness, even with his evident access tag.

Thankfully, the victim was revived at UCH, but he had his equipment damaged and was left with a swollen face. Many pieces of used condoms were also spotted all over the event ground as people had sex with reckless abandon, while the concert was going on.

POLICE REACT AFTER HEADSMEN WERE ALLEGEDLY CHASE OUT OF ENUGU STATE

Herdsmen (File photo) The Police Command in Enugu State have refuted the video clip showing youths of Oduma Community in Aninri Local Government Area of the state chasing herdsmen away from the community. The Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Ebere Amaraizu, stated this in a statement and made available to News Agency of Nigeria in Enugu on Thursday. He said that the false and misleading social media video was captioned, “Enugu Youths Chase Out Herdsmen and Their Cows Back to North’’. The police spokesman said that the false video clip was an attempt by mischief makers to cause disaffection and disunity as well as promote hatred among the people.
