At 79, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi’s harem of women is of a remarkable number. Though there are older queens in the palace, he has quite a handful of younger queens who step out with him to events.
His youngest queen, Olori Ola will clock 27 in a few days.


A boxer who is also a gym enthusiast, you would clearly notice the rivalry in the young queens by their painstaking efforts for huge followership on social media especially on Instagram and the crave to dress gorgeously than the other.
When the monarch marked his 79th birthday on October 15, the messages from his very young wives caught attention.
The youngest queen, Olaitan Badirat wrote:
“Happy Birthday MY DARLING HUSBAND…

Another pretty and young queen, Memunat Omowunmi wrote:
“What gift can I give a wonderful father,spouse and our remaining Ancestor like you on this your day,May I give you a prayer and a wish that God will continue to put you upon your enemies bless you with good health and happiness not just for today but for the rest of your life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY HUSBAND ”(sic)

Queens Ola and Memunat

The young queens all went on pilgrimage to Mecca recently and inundated our timelines with photos.
The king also bought new Sports Utility Vehicles for these queens and we saw photos on Instagram.
They must really be enjoying Iku Baba Yeye’s virility and generosity.
