BREAKING: Nationwide Jubilation!!! No Sleep For Sick Buhari, As His Worst Nightmare Is Set To Emerge As PDP National Chairman

Former Minister of Aviation, and Chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Femi Fani-Kayode, is set to emerge as the National Chairman of the PDP.

Fani-Kayode’s Media Adviser, Jude Ndukwe, disclosed this on Tuesday morning.

Fani-Kayode would be competing with a former Deputy National Chairman of the party, Bode George; the Governorship candidate of the party in Lagos, in 2015, Jimi Agbaje; and a former Minister of Education, Prof. Tunde Adeniran.

He said: “It is far too early to make this decision, but I can tell you that there is a lot of pressure on him from various quarters to run for a key position on the National Working Committee of the party.

“We are still waiting for the zoning formula, and the date of the Convention. It is after all that has been agreed on, that we will decide whether he will run for the National Chairmanship or anything else or not.

“One thing is clear though, and that is that our party needs strong leadership to take on the APC Federal Government. He has that strength and passion, and he has worked very hard for the party.

“He has also been defending democratic values for the last two years. Meetings and consultations are still going on, so let us wait and see how it all goes.”

POLICE REACT AFTER HEADSMEN WERE ALLEGEDLY CHASE OUT OF ENUGU STATE

Herdsmen (File photo) The Police Command in Enugu State have refuted the video clip showing youths of Oduma Community in Aninri Local Government Area of the state chasing herdsmen away from the community. The Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Ebere Amaraizu, stated this in a statement and made available to News Agency of Nigeria in Enugu on Thursday. He said that the false and misleading social media video was captioned, “Enugu Youths Chase Out Herdsmen and Their Cows Back to North’’. The police spokesman said that the false video clip was an attempt by mischief makers to cause disaffection and disunity as well as promote hatred among the people.
